The church was founded by Solomon Molingila who grew up in Congo. He was a faithful servant in the service of the Lord who spent much time among the people in the streets and had great compassion for the sick. In the early 2000s, God called him to serve in English-speaking areas of Africa and Solomon set out on a journey through the many country’s of Africa together with his wife Konga. From Congo they traveled to Namibia and South Africa. Everywhere they went they brought the good news of the gospel of the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Solomon loved to preach on the street and wake people up and give them the good news of salvation. In addition, they spent a lot of time in hospitals where God used them mightily in healing the sick. Over time they arrived in South Africa where, with hard work and loyalty to God, they were able to establish a vibrant church in Knysna in the 'Joodse Kamp' district. Since then, this place has been a place where people are discipled and where God's Kingdom can be given free rein.
Unfortunately, God took Solomon home in januari 2021. After a few months of illness, he could no longer cope with the struggles in his body and he was promoted to join His Father in heaven. His love and courage live on ever since in the roots of the church, which is continued by his wife Konga and the elders.
The church is built on the foundation of the Bible, inspired by the Holy Ghost and actively contributes to the community of Knysna.
The goals of the Church are never changed and where inpsired of the words that the Holy Spirit told to Solomon.
- To preach the gospel troughout the world as in Matthew 26
- To win souls for Christ
- To teach, heal and deliver
- Feed, clothe and shelter the poor
